Editorial Standards
This page sets out FeeRadar's content production process, review standards, citation rules, and correction procedures. It is aligned with Google's E-E-A-T framework (Experience / Expertise / Authoritativeness / Trustworthiness) and YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) quality requirements.
1. Content Scope and Boundaries
Content We Provide
- English walkthroughs of cryptocurrency exchange registration flows
- Comparative exchange reviews based on publicly available data
- Anti-phishing and social-engineering security education
- Fee-estimation tools derived from each exchange's official public fee schedule
- Objective summaries of industry news and editorial observations
Content We Do Not Provide
- โ Specific investment advice (coin selection, market timing, position sizing)
- โ Return forecasts, price predictions, or yield guarantees
- โ Tax or legal advice (please consult licensed professionals)
- โ Account-operation proxying, KYC assistance, or withdrawal handling
- โ Paid sponsored content or undisclosed promotion
2. Content Production Workflow
- Topic selection: Based on long-tail keyword analysis (GSC + Google Trends) and real user-question feedback.
- Research: Cross-verify against at least 3 authoritative sources (official docs / help centers / public fee schedules / authoritative industry references).
- Drafting: Authors write based on cited sources and an editorial checklist, clearly noting information validity periods.
- Fact-checking: All numbers, dates, and official policies must link to an authoritative source.
- Compliance review: Check for prohibited phrasing ("risk-free," "guaranteed profits," etc.) and confirm that affiliate disclosure is complete.
- Publishing: Tag with author byline, publish date, and Last Updated date.
- Updates: Data is rechecked monthly; tutorial screenshots are refreshed quarterly.
3. Citation and External-Link Standards
Source Hierarchy
- Tier 1 (Official): Binance Academy / OKX Help Center / Binance Fee Schedule / exchange announcement pages
- Tier 2 (Industry authority): CoinDesk / The Block / CryptoSlate / Decrypt / Bitcoin Magazine
- Tier 3 (Data sources): CoinGecko / CoinMarketCap / Glassnode / Chainalysis
- Not cited: Telegram / Twitter / unmoderated platform posts (unless the author publicly verifies their identity).
External-Link Handling
- Citations to official documentation / academic papers / government notices โ
rel="noopener"dofollow (to enhance content authority). - Affiliate links โ
rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer". - User-generated content / social media โ
rel="nofollow noopener ugc"(where referenced). - All external links use
target="_blank"to avoid interrupting the reading flow.
4. Attribution and Currency
Each article must include:
- Author byline (linked to author profile + LinkedIn / Twitter)
- Original publish date (day-level precision)
- Last Updated date
- Source links (for every specific number, policy, or price)
- Disclaimer (not investment advice)
- Risk disclosure (for YMYL content)
5. Numerical and Data Principles
- Every specific number must have a source: For example, "spot taker 0.10%" must link to Binance's official Fee Schedule.
- No stale data: Figures older than 90 days must be re-verified, otherwise labeled "as of [date]".
- No public guarantees: FeeRadar makes no commitment about specific "exclusive rates," "rebate percentages," or "savings amounts".
- Transparent statistics: Volume, user counts, and similar statistics must cite their source (e.g., CoinGecko / Glassnode).
6. AI-Generated Content Policy
In line with Google's Helpful Content System:
- Content is primarily written by human authors, citing official and public sources.
- If AI tools are used (for rewriting, translation, or drafting), output must pass fact-checking, source verification, compliance review, and style editing before publication.
- AI tools are used solely for workflow optimization, not to fabricate experience or data.
- FeeRadar does not publish purely AI-generated, unverified content.
7. Conflict-of-Interest Management
- Affiliate revenue is transparent: Our primary revenue comes from the Binance / OKX Affiliate programs (see the Affiliate Disclosure).
- Editorial independence: The editorial workflow is not directly influenced by Binance or OKX. FeeRadar independently reports product limitations of partner exchanges.
- Holdings disclosure: If an author comments on a specific token, they must disclose whether they hold the token.
- No non-affiliated paid promotion: FeeRadar does not accept paid promotion from third-party projects (beyond the disclosed major-exchange Affiliate programs).
- Staff conduct: Editorial staff may not front-run trades based on unpublished content.

10. YMYL Content Requirements
Cryptocurrency content falls under Google's YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) top-tier sensitive category. FeeRadar applies the following stricter standards:
- Every YMYL article must carry a clear disclaimer (not investment, tax, or legal advice).
- Every YMYL article must include a risk-disclosure section (linked to the full Risk Disclosure).
- We do not target unsuitable audiences (minors, those unable to bear losses, residents of restricted jurisdictions).
- Compliance frameworks must cite the relevant licensed authority (SEC / FCA / MAS / SFC, etc.).
- When discussing tax or legal matters, readers are directed to licensed professionals.
